There is always a deep, never ending loss when someone good, someone great, passes. I consider myself blessed to have been able to cross the path of Bob Baranaskas.

Blue Skies and Calm Winds,
Susanna (Sue)

Chris,
I've had the pleasure of meeting you and your dad at one of the airshows at Brookhaven, and i've always enjoyed seeing both of you doing your aerial routine over the field, and also flying over my house on departure or arrival at Brookhaven. Thank you for all you do and keep'em flying, the memory of your dad and his smiling face will live on.

Cris; I met you and your dad in 2007 at our local airport, you and your father gave us a wonderful tour of your beautiful aircraft and treated us like old friends, truly gentlemen of the highest caliber. My thoughts are with your family at this difficult time. Just hug your pretty wife and handsome little boy, they'll get you through anything. God bless

Chris, As I told You Saturday at Geneseo, hardly a day goes by that I don't think of You and Your Dad. He was such a Classy gentleman & He taught You to be the same. Thanks for making Us Wannabees feel welcome to shoot the breeze with You for a few minutes every year. Jerry

Hello Chris,
I've been meaning to reach out to you for some time now, sorry it's taken so long. There's not much I can say really except that while I was shocked to learn of Bob's passing it has brought back many great memories of flying with you guys. Besides the pattern at MacArthur and the North and South Practice Areas, there was Penn Yan and Rutland. Oh and I'm sure you remember your first solo too. The pleasure was all mine.
My heart goes out to you and all your family

Brendan

Hey bob,
Sorry it took a while to write, I've been so sad about u and Vinny. Well i just want to say i miss you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. Ill always remember the story you told joe and i the day before the crash. How you went to a place called shake and bake and when you wished me luck with flying the gliders. Well I'm really close to soloing. Now its just the weather holding me back. Well i have to go finish studying for my finals. I miss you lots and always will
